Online there are other statements about Elvis' declining health and crises in the few months and years before he died.  He had poor diet.  He had severe constipation, and stressed and enlarged organs when he died.  He was 42.

Elvis' father Vernon would die about 22 months later, on June 26, 1979, at the age of 63.
